*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Radnevo (Раднево) lies in central-southern Bulgaria within Stara Zagora Province, and the nearby lake or reservoir experiences marked seasonal variation in water temperature typical for inland bodies in the region. In spring (April–May) surface temperatures commonly range from about 8–15 °C (46–59 °F) as the water warms after winter. During the height of summer (June–August) shallow areas and sheltered bays often reach 20–26 °C (68–79 °F), and on hot spells may climb a few degrees higher. In autumn (September–October) temperatures tend to fall back to roughly 12–18 °C (54–64 °F), while in winter the surface can approach freezing, roughly 0–5 °C (32–41 °F), with occasional ice cover depending on the year.
Swimming in the lake near Radnevo is possible seasonally, principally in the warmer months when water temperatures are comfortable; however whether it is officially allowed depends on local municipal rules, signage and water-quality monitoring. Restrictions can be in place for safety reasons (steep banks, variable depth, submerged hazards), for water-management purposes, or following episodes of poor water quality or algal blooms. Lifeguards are not always present, so swimmers should heed posted notices, check local advisories, and take ordinary precautions when entering the water.
