The Sazliyka River (Сазлийка) in Bulgaria is a relatively small, lowland river whose water temperature varies with the seasons and local conditions. In winter the river typically cools to about 0–6 °C (32–43 °F), while spring sees a rise to roughly 6–14 °C (43–57 °F) as snowmelt and rain feed the flow.
