*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

The Sazliyka River (Сазлийка) in Bulgaria is a relatively small, lowland river whose water temperature varies with the seasons and local conditions. In winter the river typically cools to about 0–6 °C (32–43 °F), while spring sees a rise to roughly 6–14 °C (43–57 °F) as snowmelt and rain feed the flow. During summer the main channel often ranges between 18–26 °C (64–79 °F), though shallow, slow-moving stretches and isolated pools can warm further, occasionally reaching around 28–30 °C (82–86 °F) on hot days. In autumn temperatures decline again to roughly 10–18 °C (50–64 °F) as air temperatures drop and flows increase.
Swimming in the Sazliyka is not universally managed by formal bathing areas; in many places it is physically possible during the warmer months where access and depth permit. However, local water quality, variable currents, submerged hazards and agricultural or municipal runoff can make swimming inadvisable in particular stretches, and some municipalities may prohibit bathing for safety or public-health reasons. Anyone considering swimming should check local signs and recent water-quality or safety information, choose calmer, cleaner sections, and avoid areas with strong flow, debris or visible pollution.
