*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

The Tereblya River, flowing through the Zakarpattia region of western Ukraine, is a typical Carpathian mountain river — clear, fast, and cool. It originates in the mountains and runs through narrow valleys and forested slopes before joining the Tisza. Because of its mountainous nature, the water temperature remains relatively low for most of the year. In late spring, it usually stays around 10–13°C, and during the warmest summer months — July and August — it can rise to 17–19°C in calm or shallow stretches. On hot days, the upper layer of water near villages and flatter valleys can reach about 20°C, offering a refreshing but not overly cold experience for swimmers.
Swimming in the Tereblya is best suited for those who enjoy natural, invigorating waters. The river has a stony or pebbly bottom, and the water is remarkably clear, reflecting the greenery of the surrounding forests. The current is generally moderate, though after rains it can become faster, so people usually swim in calmer spots or near small beaches formed by pebbles. The combination of fresh mountain air, cool transparent water, and scenic landscapes makes bathing in the Tereblya not just refreshing but also deeply relaxing.
