*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Lago di Cutilia (also called Lago di Paterno) is a small, shallow lake in Lazio whose water temperatures follow the temperate seasonal cycle of central Italy. In summer the surface commonly warms to about 20–26 °C (68–79 °F), while late spring and early autumn typically see temperatures around 10–18 °C (50–64 °F). Winter waters are colder, often falling to roughly 4–10 °C (39–50 °F) depending on air temperatures and rainfall. Because the lake is relatively shallow and sheltered, it can heat up quickly on hot days but also cool rapidly after cold spells; exact values vary year to year with weather and water inflow.
Swimming at Lago di Cutilia is not promoted as a structured beach activity. Parts of the shoreline and surrounding territory have ecological and archaeological sensitivity, and local rules or signage may limit access for conservation reasons. There are no extensive lifeguard facilities or developed bathing areas, so any bathing tends to be informal and occasional rather than organized. Water quality can also vary, so visitors should check current local guidance before entering and respect protected zones and posted restrictions.
