Lake Hévíz is the largest natural thermal lake in the world that is suitable for bathing, and it is famous for its consistently warm water throughout the year. Thanks to the hot springs feeding it, the water temperature in summer often stays around 30–33°C, while even in winter it rarely drops below 24°C.
