** Average - Average water temperature on this day in recent years
*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Lake Beyşehir (Beyşehir Gölü) is a large freshwater lake in Isparta province whose surface temperatures vary notably through the year. In winter months (December–February) surface water is cold, typically around 0–6 °C (32–43 °F). Spring (March–May) brings gradual warming to roughly 6–16 °C (43–61 °F). By summer (June–August) surface temperatures commonly reach 18–26 °C (64–79 °F) on warm days, making the warmest period for bathing. In autumn (September–November) temperatures decline again to about 12–20 °C (54–68 °F). These figures refer to surface readings; deeper water remains cooler year-round.
Swimming is permitted in many parts of the lake and the shoreline is used for recreation, particularly in summer when surface temperatures are most comfortable. Local beaches and camping areas welcome swimmers, but access and safety depend on seasonal conditions and municipal rules. Water quality is generally suitable for recreation, though local authorities may restrict swimming for short periods if monitoring shows contamination or algal blooms. Swimmers should also be mindful that even in summer, wind and sudden depth changes can make water feel colder and increase risk, so using designated bathing areas and observing posted warnings is advisable.
