The Laghi del Gorzente (Italian name: Laghi del Gorzente) are a series of small mountain reservoirs and natural basins in Piedmont whose surface temperatures vary markedly through the year. In summer the shallows can warm to roughly 18–24 °C (64–75 °F) on sunny days, while larger or deeper basins tend to be cooler. During spring temperatures commonly range from about 6–15 °C (43–59 °F) as snowmelt and cool inflows dominate, and in autumn surface readings typically sit around 10–16 °C (50–61 °F).
