*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Haderslev Fjord (Danish: Haderslev Fjord) is a shallow coastal fjord in the Region of Southern Denmark where water temperatures follow the typical seasonal pattern of Danish coastal waters. In winter the surface temperature is often around 0–4 °C (32–39 °F), rising in spring to roughly 4–12 °C (39–54 °F). Summer brings the warmest conditions, with average surface temperatures commonly between 16–22 °C (61–72 °F), and in early autumn temperatures generally fall to about 8–15 °C (46–59 °F). Local variations occur with wind, tides and freshwater inflow; sheltered bays warm faster than open channels and can be a few degrees warmer on calm summer days.
Swimming in Haderslev Fjord is generally permitted and many people use the shoreline for bathing when temperatures are comfortable. Public access to beaches and shorelines is common, and designated bathing spots may be monitored for water quality during the summer season, but safety and cleanliness can vary. Swimmers should heed local signage, watch for occasional algal blooms or strong currents near inlets, and be mindful that lifeguards are not always present. For a safe swim, check recent local water-quality reports and follow posted guidance.
