*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Odense Fjord (Danish: Odense Fjord) is a shallow brackish fjord on the north coast of Funen in the Region of Southern Denmark. Water temperatures vary markedly by season because of the shallowness and coastal exposure. In winter the surface typically ranges around 0–4 °C (32–39 °F), rising in spring to about 4–13 °C (39–55 °F) as the sea warms. Summer temperatures commonly reach 14–22 °C (57–72 °F) on warm days in sheltered bays and shallow areas, while autumn brings a cooling back toward 8–14 °C (46–57 °F).
Swimming in Odense Fjord is generally allowed and practiced at designated beaches and bathing spots; the fjord falls under Danish bathing water regulations and local authorities monitor water quality. Public bathing sites are open because routine testing usually keeps levels of bacteria and pollution within acceptable limits, but warnings or temporary closures can occur after heavy rain, discharge events or when blue‑green algae blooms are detected. Visitors should use marked bathing areas, heed local advisories, and be aware of changing weather, boat traffic and shallow sandbanks that can affect safety.
