The Falls of Falloch lie in Glen Falloch near Crianlarich in the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. The waterfall is part of the River Falloch, which flows down from the surrounding hills, carrying cool, clear water year-round. In winter, the water temperature usually ranges from 3–5 °C (37–41 °F), rising slightly to around 7–9 °C (45–48 °F) in spring. During the summer months, the pool below the falls can warm to 12–14 °C (54–57 °F) on sunny days, though shaded sections and flowing water stay colder.
