*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Srbobran, a municipality in the Vojvodina region of Serbia, is situated near the small lowland watercourse, the Krivaja River. The Krivaja is not a major river, but rather a slow-moving channel that is highly susceptible to the influence of the surrounding agricultural land and climate. Due to its status as a smaller river with often minimal flow and proximity to cultivated areas, swimming is generally not advisable and is neither regulated nor officially promoted in the Krivaja River near Srbobran, primarily due to concerns over water quality and potential contamination.
The water temperature in the Krivaja River follows the pronounced seasonal changes of the Pannonian Plain. During the cold winter period, from approximately December to March, the temperature of the water is very low, often ranging from 0∘C to 3∘C, with the water sometimes freezing entirely. In the summer months, specifically July and August, the shallow nature of the river allows for rapid warming, with surface temperatures typically reaching between 23∘C and 26∘C. However, the warm temperature does not override the quality concerns for public swimming.
