*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

The Krivaja River in Serbia is predominantly a lowland watercourse in Vojvodina, with its characteristics heavily influenced by its location and, particularly in its lower course, by poor environmental management. Due to significant pollution issues, especially downstream from Bačka Topola, the river is often considered an ecological black spot. Consequently, swimming in the Krivaja River is strongly discouraged and effectively prohibited for health and safety reasons in many areas due to very low water quality and concerns that it often acts as an open sewage canal.
As a sluggish lowland river, the Krivaja's water temperature is strongly seasonal. During the winter, from approximately November to March, temperatures are low, often hovering between 0∘C and 7∘C, with the possibility of freezing. In the summer, particularly in July and August, the shallow, slow-moving water warms up significantly, sometimes reaching between 23∘C and 26∘C. However, even these seemingly pleasant temperatures do not negate the underlying issues of pollution and poor flow, reinforcing the need to avoid recreational swimming.
