*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Slobozia (in Romanian - Slobozia) is a town in the South-Muntenia region of Romania, close to several small lakes and wetlands such as Lake Amara and the Ialomița floodplain. Water temperatures in these shallow inland lakes vary substantially through the year. In winter the surface can cool to around 0–4 °C (32–39 °F) and may partially freeze in cold spells. Spring brings a gradual rise to roughly 8–16 °C (46–61 °F) depending on sunshine and rainfall. Summer is the warmest period, with typical surface temperatures in the range of 20–26 °C (68–79 °F) and occasional peaks up to about 28 °C (82 °F) during hot, calm weather. Autumn cooling generally returns temperatures to about 10–16 °C (50–61 °F).
Swimming is generally possible in Slobozia’s lakes but usually only in designated bathing areas and during the warm months when local authorities open supervised beaches. Designated zones exist because water quality, depth, mud content and salinity differ across the lakes; some are managed as therapeutic or protected sites where free access is limited. For safety and environmental reasons swimmers are advised to use marked beaches and follow posted rules; outside those areas swimming may be discouraged or restricted.
