Buzău, in southeastern Romania, has a mix of small natural lakes and engineered reservoirs whose surface water temperatures follow the region’s continental climate. In spring (March–May) lake temperatures typically rise from about 6–15 °C (43–59 °F) as snowmelt and cool rains influence inflows.
