The Morača's water temperature varies significantly with the seasons. During the cool months from October to May, the river remains frigid, generally ranging between 10∘C and 14∘C, which is unsuitable for recreational swimming. Only in the heart of summer, typically in July and August, does the water warm up to its highest seasonal range of approximately 19∘C to 24∘C in its calmer lower course. Visitors should be mindful of strong currents and should exercise caution, as the river is not a controlled swimming facility.
