*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

The Bílina River flows through northern Bohemia, connecting mountain valleys with lowland areas before joining the Ohře. As a relatively small river, its water temperature responds quickly to the weather. In the warmest part of summer, it can reach into the low 20s °C, but outside of that period it often stays cooler, especially when fed by streams from higher elevations. Its flow and depth make the river less predictable in terms of warmth compared to nearby lakes.
When it comes to swimming, the Bílina is generally not regarded as a bathing river. Industrial influence in parts of its course and the modest size of its channel mean that water quality and safety are not ideal for recreational swimming. Locals and visitors usually turn to lakes, reservoirs, or designated swimming areas in the region instead. The river plays a stronger role as a natural feature of the landscape rather than as a place for bathing.
