Lake St. Moritz (St. Moritzersee) is a small but picturesque lake located in the famous resort town of St. Moritz, in the Engadine valley in the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. The lake covers an area of approximately 0.78 square kilometers (0.3 square miles) and is a central feature of the town, attracting visitors year-round for activities like ice skating and polo in winter and sailing and stand-up paddling in summer. Due to its high altitude of 1,768 meters (5,801 feet), the water temperature remains cold, usually between 10°C and 17°C (50°F to 63°F) in summer.
