Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
The city of Netishyn in the Khmelnytskyi Oblast is situated on the Horyn River, which is a rather large waterway flowing through Western Ukraine. The river's temperature regime is influenced by the moderate continental climate with warm summers, but also by the fact that the Khmelnytskyi NPP is located near Netishyn. During the summer months, from June to August, the water temperature in the Horyn River becomes suitable for swimming, reaching 22−25∘C in areas with less depth and slower current. However, the thermal influence of industrial facilities may slightly alter the local temperature readings.
The swimming opportunities in the Horyn River near Netishyn exist and the river is a traditional summer recreation spot for the local population. The Horyn offers wide stretches with natural banks that are used as beach areas. The natural current of the river and its size make it suitable for water activities. At the same time, due to the proximity to large industrial facilities, special attention should always be paid to official water quality recommendations, and only verified and safe spots should be chosen for swimming.
