Brailiv is a small and peaceful town in Vinnytsia Oblast, situated on the banks of the Riv River, a quiet tributary of the Southern Bug. In this area, the river flows slowly between green meadows and tree-lined slopes, forming shallow sections and small bends. Because the Riv is relatively narrow and not deep, its water warms up quickly in the warmer months. By early summer, the temperature usually reaches 19–21°C, and in July and August it often stays around 23–25°C. In shaded or spring-fed parts, the water may remain slightly cooler, offering refreshing conditions on hot days.
