The Manavgat River (Manavgat Nehri) in Antalya originates from karst springs and flows into the Mediterranean, and its water temperature varies seasonally. In winter months it typically cools to around 10–14 °C (50–57 °F). During spring temperatures commonly rise to roughly 12–20 °C (54–68 °F) as snowmelt and warmer air increase flow. Summer brings the warmest conditions, with surface temperatures often between 20–27 °C (68–81 °F) in calmer stretches, while autumn usually sees a gradual decline to about 16–22 °C (61–72 °F).
