Vodní nádrž Lipno is the largest reservoir in the Czech Republic, located in the South Bohemian Region near the Šumava Mountains. The reservoir is a popular destination for swimming, boating, and other water-based recreation due to its expansive and calm waters. During the peak summer months of July and August, water temperatures near the shores typically reach around 22–25 °C, making it very comfortable for swimming, wading, and light water sports.
