Swimming in such conditions is perfect for those seeking relaxation and comfort in the water. These waters are often preferred for relaxation in hot weather, as the water temperature does not cool the body significantly. *** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Paradeniz, a shallow coastal lagoon in Mersin province, typically shows notable seasonal variation in water temperature because of its low depth and sheltered position. In winter the water often ranges from about 12–16 °C (54–61 °F), while spring sees gradual warming to roughly 16–22 °C (61–72 °F). Summer temperatures are the warmest, commonly between 24–30 °C (75–86 °F) in the warmest months, and autumn brings cooling to approximately 18–24 °C (64–75 °F). Because the lagoon is shallower than open sea, it can heat up faster in calm, sunny periods and cool more quickly after cold fronts, so local conditions can shift within a season.
Swimming in Paradeniz is possible in many places during the warmer months when temperatures are comfortable, but access and suitability vary. Some shorelines are used for recreation, yet other zones are subject to restrictions to protect sensitive wetland habitats, nesting birds and shoreline ecology; signs or local regulations may prohibit bathing in those areas. In addition, shallow, brackish waters and local currents can affect comfort and safety, so swimmers typically choose monitored or clearly designated spots when available and follow local guidance.
