Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
The city of Zbarazh in the Ternopil Oblast has several ponds within its boundaries, formed on small local rivers. These reservoirs, including the so-called Zbarazkyi and Bazarynetskyi Ponds, are located almost within the city limits and have an average depth of about 2 meters. Because of this, the water warms up quite quickly during the warm season. At the peak of summer, which falls in July and August, the water temperature in these ponds usually ranges within a comfortable swimming range, reaching approximately +20 to +24∘C.
However, despite the potentially warm water, opportunities for mass swimming directly in the Zbarazh city ponds are limited. Information often suggests that these ponds lack equipped recreation areas or beaches, as they are situated in urban development and are primarily used for fishing. The absence of proper infrastructure and rescue posts makes swimming in such locations unsafe and generally not recommended.
For safe and organized water recreation, residents and visitors of Zbarazh can utilize alternative locations. Specifically, modern recreational complexes exist in the area that offer swimming in pools, which is a much safer and more comfortable alternative, especially for family leisure.
