Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
The village of Perehinske is situated in the mountainous region of the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, where the Lomnytsia River flows. This river, with a significant part of its basin in the Carpathians, is fed mainly by cold springs and meltwater, making it one of the cleanest, yet also one of the coldest, rivers in the region. The water temperature in the Lomnytsia near Perehinske rarely rises to comfortable levels for prolonged swimming. Even during the warmest summer months, in July and early August, the water usually stays in the range of 16−19∘C. This temperature is considered cool and is mostly suitable for quick hardening or a brief, refreshing dip.
The swimming opportunities in the Lomnytsia River around Perehinske exist, but they are geared towards enthusiasts of extreme or natural recreation. Due to the swift current, rocky bottom, and consistently low temperature, prolonged swimming is an uncommon occurrence here. Official beach areas are virtually non-existent. Locals might use small, calmer backwaters or sloughs with slower currents for bathing. Visitors should always remember safety measures, as mountain rivers can be unpredictable. The Lomnytsia primarily attracts people with its crystal-clear water and the beauty of the surrounding mountain landscapes.
