*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
The city of Kivertsi in the Volyn Oblast does not feature large natural lakes like the neighboring Shatsk Lakes, but residents use the Stryzh River and smaller water bodies for summer recreation, notably the town lake known as Molodizhne Lake. Since these reservoirs are shallow and located within the city limits or the river floodplain, they warm up quickly during the summer months. In July and August, the water temperature in Molodizhne Lake and similar spots likely reaches comfortable swimming levels, ranging from +20 to +23∘C.
However, the swimming opportunities in Kivertsi are officially extremely limited or outright prohibited. The city authorities regularly mandate the placement of signs forbidding swimming at Molodizhne Lake, citing non-compliance with sanitary and microbiological standards or the lack of official equipment as a mass recreation area. Sanitary services often confirm that there are no officially suitable beaches for swimming in the Kivertsi area (including water bodies in nearby villages).
This means that while the water in Kivertsi is warm enough in the summer, using it for swimming is not recommended and is prohibited for safety and health reasons. Even if local residents ignore these bans, recreation takes place entirely at one's own risk.
