*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Saray (Turkish: Saray) is a district in Tekirdağ province with a rural character and several small lakes and reservoirs that reflect the Marmara region’s seasonal climate. Water temperatures in these inland bodies vary considerably through the year: in winter they typically fall to about 4–8 °C (39–46 °F), spring temperatures rise through a broad band of roughly 8–18 °C (46–64 °F) as the air warms, and peak in summer at approximately 20–26 °C (68–79 °F) on warm days. In autumn the surface usually cools back to around 12–18 °C (54–64 °F). Actual values depend on depth, inflow, and local weather patterns, so conditions at one pond or reservoir can differ from another nearby.
Swimming opportunities in Saray’s lakes are mixed and often informal. Some locals may bathe in shallow areas during the warmest months when temperatures are most comfortable, but many lakes are managed as irrigation reservoirs or lack safety infrastructure, so there are frequently no designated swimming zones or lifeguards. Authorities or landowners may restrict access to protect water quality, prevent contamination of supplies, or avoid accidents, so visitors should check local signage and regulations before entering the water. Water quality and safety considerations, rather than temperature alone, typically determine whether swimming is advisable.
