Surface water temperatures in these inland bodies typically range from about 2–8 °C (36–46 °F) in winter, rise to roughly 8–15 °C (46–59 °F) during spring, reach summer peaks commonly between 18–24 °C (64–75 °F), and fall back to around 10–16 °C (50–61 °F) in autumn.
