*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Manlleu (same name in Catalan and Spanish) is a town in the Osona comarca of Catalonia, situated on the Ter river and close to several reservoirs and bathing spots in the surrounding hills. Water temperatures in the local river and nearby lakes vary by season: in winter surface temperatures typically fall to around 6–10 °C (43–50 °F), spring sees a rise to roughly 10–16 °C (50–61 °F), summer brings the warmest conditions with typical surface readings around 18–25 °C (64–77 °F) and occasional peaks near 26 °C (79 °F) in calm, sunny years, while autumn usually cools back to about 12–18 °C (54–64 °F). These figures are broad averages for the Ter and adjacent reservoirs; exact values depend on depth, recent rainfall and local microclimate.
Swimming opportunities exist seasonally in and around Manlleu, but they are allowed only in designated areas where safety and water quality are monitored. Some reservoirs and river beaches are open to bathers in summer with lifeguard supervision and water-quality checks, whereas other water bodies are restricted because they serve as drinking-water sources or have safety risks such as strong currents or infrastructure. Visitors should follow municipal signs and local guidance: permitted areas are maintained for public bathing, while prohibited zones protect health, supply systems and safety.
