*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

The Turiya River in the Volyn region of Ukraine is a calm and meandering waterway that flows through forests, meadows, and small towns of Polissia. It is relatively shallow, with a slow current and a clean, soft-bottomed riverbed, which helps the water warm up quickly in late spring. By the end of May, the temperature typically reaches 17–19°C, while in July and August it often rises to 22–24°C. These conditions make the river pleasant for swimming, especially on sunny, windless days. As autumn approaches, the water cools gradually, usually dropping below 15°C by late September.
Swimming in the Turiya River is enjoyable for those who appreciate quiet, natural settings. The water is clear in most stretches, and the gentle current makes it safe even for less experienced swimmers. Sandy or grassy banks provide convenient spots for entering the water, and in the countryside the river is often surrounded by greenery and birdlife, adding to its peaceful atmosphere. Locals and visitors alike enjoy bathing or wading here during the summer, especially near towns like Kovel, where the water is clean and easily accessible.
