The Stokhid River in the Volyn region of Ukraine is one of the most picturesque rivers of Polissia, known for its calm flow, winding channels, and clear water. It is a relatively shallow river with slow currents, which helps the water warm up early in the season. By late May, the temperature usually reaches around 17–19°C, and during July and August it often rises to 22–24°C, making it comfortable for swimming.
