*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

The Chrudimka is a smaller river in eastern Bohemia, flowing from the Žďárské vrchy highlands down toward Pardubice. Its mountain-fed origin keeps the water relatively cool throughout much of the year. In late spring, temperatures are often between 14–16 °C, while in the height of summer, during warm and stable weather, the river can reach 20–22 °C in calmer stretches. However, because of its steady flow and shaded banks, it usually feels fresher than nearby lakes or ponds.
Swimming in the Chrudimka is possible, but it is more of a local activity than an organized attraction. People tend to use quieter sections of the river to wade or cool off, particularly near towns like Chrudim or Seč, where access to the water is easier. The river’s depth and current vary a lot depending on location, so it is more suitable for short dips than for long recreational swimming.
What makes the Chrudimka special is its natural atmosphere: wooded valleys, meadows, and historic towns along its course. On hot summer days, the cool, flowing water offers a refreshing alternative to crowded reservoirs, giving swimmers and locals a close connection to nature.
