Zervreilasee is a stunning artificial reservoir located in the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland, near the town of Vals. Surrounded by alpine peaks, the lake was created by the Zervreila Dam and is popular for hiking and nature observation. Due to its high altitude (around 1,862 meters above sea level), the water temperature in Zervreilasee remains cold throughout the year. In summer, it typically ranges from 5°C to 12°C (41°F to 54°F), making it too cold for most swimmers. In winter, the surface may even freeze.
