*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
The Pantà de Siurana (in Spanish, Pantà de Siurana) is a mountain reservoir in Catalonia where water temperature varies noticeably with the seasons and local weather. Typical surface temperatures in spring range from about 12–18 °C (54–64 °F) as the water warms, while summer surface temperatures commonly reach 20–26 °C (68–79 °F) on warm sunny days. In autumn the surface tends to cool to roughly 14–20 °C (57–68 °F) and in winter temperatures can fall to around 6–12 °C (43–54 °F). Deeper water remains colder year-round and sudden wind or inflow events can change surface readings quickly, so reported values are approximate and vary by year and exact location in the reservoir.
Swimming is generally possible at the Pantà de Siurana and the site is used for recreational activities such as swimming, kayaking and paddleboarding, but access and specific areas can be subject to local regulations, seasonal restrictions and safety signage. Authorities may limit bathing to protect water quality or for operational reasons, and cold temperatures outside summer can present hypothermia risks even if swimming is permitted. Visitors should check on current local rules, observe posted signs, and judge comfort and safety according to the season and their own experience.
