Nechranice Lake, located in northwestern Bohemia, is one of the largest reservoirs in the Czech Republic and is well known for its wide water surface. Because of its size, the water warms up more slowly compared to smaller ponds, but during the height of summer it usually reaches comfortable swimming temperatures of around 20–23 °C.
