*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
The city of Lozova, located in the southern part of the Kharkiv Oblast, is situated in a steppe zone, which features a distinct continental climate with very warm summers. Water bodies here are mainly represented by rivers (such as Lozova, Bereka) and large artificial ponds and reservoirs. Due to high summer air temperatures and the relatively shallow depth of most water bodies, the water temperature becomes very comfortable for swimming. In July and August, the water in local ponds and shallow river sections typically warms up to 23−26∘C, which is ideal for prolonged time in the water and family recreation.
The swimming opportunities in the Lozova area are centered around large local water bodies that serve as popular recreation zones. Thanks to the warm water and favorable climate, the swimming season here is quite long, usually starting around June and lasting until September. Although the infrastructure might be predominantly wild or basic, numerous sandy banks and convenient access points to the water make these places attractive to local residents. As always, attention should be paid to water quality and safety rules when swimming in these areas.
