*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Anguillara Sabazia is a small town on the shores of Lake Bracciano in the Lazio region, known for its historic center and lakeside promenades. The surface temperature of the lake varies with the seasons: in winter it typically falls to around 4–8 °C (39–46 °F), in spring it rises to roughly 8–16 °C (46–61 °F), in summer it commonly reaches about 20–26 °C (68–79 °F), and in autumn it cools back to approximately 12–18 °C (54–64 °F). These ranges are influenced by local weather and wind conditions; shallow bays warm faster in summer while deeper or wind-exposed areas stay cooler.
Swimming in and around Anguillara Sabazia is possible and popular during the warmer months, especially at public beaches and managed lidos where lifeguards may be present. At the same time Lake Bracciano is a protected drinking-water reservoir for the surrounding area, so there are regulations intended to preserve water quality: motorized traffic is limited and certain activities can be restricted by local ordinance. As a result, swimming is generally allowed but often confined to designated spots and subject to seasonal rules and signage; visitors are advised to follow local guidance and posted restrictions when planning to swim.
