The Emscher River has had a dynamic and complex history, especially regarding its water quality and temperature. The river, which was previously used for dumping industrial waste, has gone through various cleanup programs. However, the water temperature of the Emscher River can vary greatly throughout the year, especially with fluctuating climate conditions.
