Location & Local Information
In Cherkasy, the Dnieper River widens into an impressive water body, creating conditions similar to a large lake. Because of this, the water warms up more gradually in spring, but in summer it can reach very comfortable temperatures for swimming, often around the mid-20s °C during hot periods. The broad expanse of the river near the city makes it one of the most attractive places for water recreation in central Ukraine.
