*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Kütahya (Turkish: Kütahya) is an inland, continental‑climate area of western Turkey where the main freshwater bodies are rivers, streams and a number of reservoirs and small lakes rather than coastline. Water temperatures in these lakes and rivers vary seasonally: winter surface temperatures commonly fall to around 0–7 °C (32–45 °F) when ice can form locally, spring rises to roughly 7–15 °C (45–59 °F), and summer surface temperatures typically reach about 18–25 °C (64–77 °F) in sheltered lakes or slower stretches of rivers. In autumn temperatures drop back toward 10–18 °C (50–64 °F) as air cools. Fast-flowing river sections remain noticeably cooler than still reservoirs, so local conditions can vary by several degrees.
Swimming is possible in the warmer months when surface temperatures are highest, but it is not uniformly permitted or advisable everywhere. Many reservoirs and dam lakes are managed for water supply or flood control and have restrictions for safety and water quality, while some lakes and gentle riverbanks are used recreationally. Additionally, the region has thermal springs used for bathing in controlled spa facilities where source temperatures can be much higher (often tens of °C higher than ambient waters), but those are regulated rather than wild swimming sites. Visitors should follow local signs and municipal rules and be mindful of variable currents, water quality and seasonal temperature changes.
