Mora sits on the shores of Lake Siljan in Dalarna County, and lake water temperatures follow a clear seasonal pattern typical for central Sweden. In spring (April–May) surface temperatures are commonly around 4–12 °C (39–54 °F) as the lake cools from winter and slowly warms.
