Yvoire is a picturesque medieval village located on the French shore of Lake Geneva, offering breathtaking views of the lake and the surrounding Alps. The lake's waters are generally calm and clear, making it a popular spot for swimming during the warmer months. From June to September, the water temperature in Lake Geneva typically ranges from 20°C to 24°C (68°F to 75°F), which is quite comfortable for swimming. The clear waters provide excellent visibility, making it ideal for both casual swimming and water activities like kayaking and sailing.
During the cooler months, from October to May, the water temperature drops, ranging between 12°C and 18°C (54°F to 64°F) in spring and autumn.
