The Saane River, known as La Sarine in French, flows through the western part of Switzerland, originating in the Swiss Alps. It passes through several Swiss towns, including Gstaad, Fribourg, and Bulle, before joining the Aare River. The river is fed by alpine waters, resulting in cooler temperatures throughout the year.
