*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

The Eisch River, flowing through Luxembourg and briefly crossing into Belgium, is known for its scenic landscapes and peaceful flow, often running through the Valley of the Seven Castles. This small river has a relatively cool water temperature, typically ranging from 10°C to 16°C (50°F to 60°F) in the summer months. In colder seasons, the temperature can dip as low as 5°C (41°F) or even cooler, making it chilly most of the year. Given its size and these lower water temperatures, the Eisch River is not widely considered suitable for recreational swimming.
Instead, the Eisch is enjoyed for its tranquility and natural beauty, drawing hikers and nature enthusiasts to its banks. Its narrow, often shallow stretches, and occasional rocky patches make swimming challenging. Swimming in the Eisch is generally not recommended or common, as there are no designated swimming areas along the river. However, it’s an ideal spot for fishing, picnicking, and exploring the surrounding forests and castle ruins, which offer a picturesque escape for outdoor activities.
