*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

The Bebrava River is a smaller watercourse in western Slovakia, flowing through picturesque valleys and villages before joining the Nitra River. Because of its modest size and relatively shallow depth, the water temperature here tends to warm up quickly in summer, often making it noticeably milder compared to larger rivers. During hot days, the river can reach temperatures comfortable enough for wading or short swims, especially in calmer sections with slower flow.
Swimming in the Bebrava is more of a local, informal experience rather than something organized. People from nearby villages sometimes use the riverbanks to cool off or let children play in the shallows. However, due to variable flow, occasional murkiness, and the river’s natural character, it is best suited for refreshing dips rather than long swims. Its charm lies in the natural, quiet atmosphere and the chance to enjoy contact with clean, running water away from crowded swimming pools.
