Reutlingen is located in the Baden-Württemberg state of Germany, a city renowned for its rich economy, beautiful scenery, and historical significance. However, it's worth noting that while the Neckar river does indeed flow through Baden-Württemberg, it doesn't directly pass through Reutlingen. The Echaz river, a tributary of the Neckar, runs through the city instead.
The water temperature of the Neckar river varies greatly throughout the year, with the warmest period usually between July and September when temperatures can reach up to 20 degrees Celsius (68 degrees Fahrenheit). However, despite these relatively favorable conditions during summertime, swimming in the Neckar is generally not recommended due to strong currents and boat traffic.
