The Vilaine River flows through Brittany in northwestern France, passing through cities such as Rennes and Redon before reaching the Atlantic Ocean near La Roche-Bernard. During summer, water temperatures in the Vilaine generally range between 16°C and 22°C (61°F and 72°F), depending on the section and the weather conditions.
