*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

The Nida River, located in southern Poland, is known for its scenic beauty and peaceful surroundings. The river's water temperature varies depending on the season, but it generally stays on the cooler side, especially in the spring and early summer months. In the spring, the water temperature can range from 6°C to 12°C, making it uncomfortable for most people to swim. As summer progresses, the temperature gradually rises to around 18°C to 22°C, making it more suitable for a refreshing swim. Despite these conditions, the river is not a well-known destination for regular swimming activities, as it has a relatively slow flow and shallow areas that can be muddy or filled with vegetation, which may not be ideal for swimmers.
The Nida River is, however, popular for kayaking and canoeing, especially as it flows through picturesque landscapes and offers a peaceful, tranquil experience. Canoeing down the river is a popular activity due to the calmness of the water and the surrounding nature. Swimmers, however, should be prepared for varying water conditions and the lack of proper facilities along the riverbanks for safe swimming.
