** Average - Average water temperature on this day in recent years
*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

The Aisne River, flowing through northeastern France, is a tributary of the larger Oise River, and it traverses beautiful rural areas as well as historical towns such as Soissons. The river experiences seasonal temperature changes, often reaching around 15-22°C (59-72°F) in summer months, making it comfortable for some outdoor water activities. However, in colder months, temperatures drop significantly, especially as the river flows through more forested and shaded areas, which naturally keep the water cooler.
Although the Aisne is not widely known for recreational swimming, it does offer some peaceful spots along its course that are ideal for canoeing, kayaking, and fishing. Local residents sometimes swim in designated areas during the warmer summer days, particularly in sections where the water is calm. For those interested in a more organized swimming experience, there are nearby lakes and public pools that provide safer swimming conditions and are monitored for water quality.
