*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Tori is a small town in Pärnu County, where the temperature of the water in nearby lakes depends on the season and the depth of the lake. Typical seasonal temperatures are -0°C to 4°C in winter (0°C below the ice during ice), around 4–12°C in spring from April to May, usually 17–22°C in summer from June to August and 24–25°C in less frequent hot seasons, and in autumn in September–October the temperature usually drops to 15–8°C. Lower and shaded areas remain cooler, and fertile, shallow-water beaches warm up faster, which is why differences on the same lake can be noticeable.
Swimming opportunities in and around Tori are seasonal and often limited by water temperature and water quality. During the summer, when the water temperature is around 17–22°C, swimming is usually allowed and popular at public beaches and permitted swimming areas; water samples and safety regulations from the local government are also decisive. In winter, it is possible to do ice-beach or winter swimming with special equipment and proper preparation, but they require greater caution for health and safety. At times, swimming may be restricted due to blue-green algae, pollution or poor visibility, so it is advisable to follow local notices and safety regulations.
