Om is a river in Western Siberia, flows through the territory of Omsk and Novosibirsk regions, the right tributary of the Irtysh. The river valley in the upper reaches is not clearly expressed; its slopes imperceptibly merge with the adjacent terrain. In its middle and lower reaches, it is trapezoidal, asymmetrical in places. Its width varies widely from 200 meters to 18 km. The slopes of the river valley in the upper reaches are gentle, and in the lower part they are steep, sometimes steep. The floodplain is predominantly two-sided, in places swampy, crossed by separate manes, one-sided in the lower part. Its smallest width is 250 m, the largest is 16.5 km. The width of the channel in the low-water period is 40-84 m, in some places on the bends 110-220 m.The depth of the water on the rifts is 0.3-1.5 m, on the stretches 2.0-4.1 m.Average flow rates vary from 0.1 up to 0.6 m / s on stretches and from 0.3 to 1.0 m / s on rifts.
